Kai florian Bischoff

For the bass baritone Kai Florian Bischoff, born in Görlitz, his musical career began as a choir boy in the Dresden Kreuzchor. After completing his Abitur, he studied at the universities in Dresden and Frankfurt am Main and has since then been touring in Liederabenden and mainly appearing in concerts in church as the main music background. Stage operas at the Frankfurt Opera and at the Bad Hersfelder opera festivals led him to the International Opernstudio at the Zurich Opera House in 2007, where he was engaged for productions such as Verdi's Don Carlos, Il Trovatore, Humperdinck's Kingchildren (DVD), Cavallis La Didone and Britten A Midsummer Night's Dream. Kai Florian is a permanent member of the choir of the Zurich Opera House, he does not miss out on selected solo engagements and has thus enjoyed the opéra de Monte Carlo, the Opéra de Lausanne, and regularly performs in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
