Oleksandr Kirichenko

Oleksandr (Sasha) Kirichenko was born in the Ukraine.He attended the State Ballet Academy Kiev. After his graduation in 1995, he joined the Ukrainian National Opera

 

and danced significant roles such as the Prince in “Swan Lake” or the “Nutcracker”.

 

In 1996 together with his Brother they got awarded with the silver medal of the “Serge Lifar” ballet contest and 1997 Oleksandr joined the “Jeune Ballet de France”, Paris. From 1998 to 2012 he was hired at the Opera House Zurich under the direction of Heinz Spoerli and was seen in pieces as “Giselle”, “Cinderella, “Don Quijote” and “Raimonda”. He worked closely with some of the most significant cheographers like Mats Ek, Jirí Kylián, Hans van Manen and William Forsythe. From 2012 on Oleksandr worked as choreography assistent to Heinz Spoerli. Now he is teaching Ballet and does choreography for Ice Skaters at various sport clubs of the canton of Zurich. He did the choreography for Eveline Brunner, Swiss champion of 2014, for her show at the European championship and for the world championship in 2015.                                                    Thogether with his brother Sergiy he founded the kirichenkotwins. www kirichenkotwins.com
