christoph Müller

Christoph Müller has been drawing ever since he was child. It started with the hockey players of the NLA Swiss Ice Hockey National League A. After training as an architectural draftsman, he graduated in interior architecture and design from the Zurich University of the Arts in 1999. [Julia - I was a bit confused from the German but since the NLA is hockey I’m assuming he meant that he was drawing the ice hockey players?]

The old masters Rembrandt and Velasquez have lost none of their fascination and mystery for Christoph. He seeks the same depth of expression and form in his work. He has been continually drawing, painting and working on various commissions.

Christoph Müller has lived and worked in Switzerland, Slovakia, the United States and most recently Berlin, Germany. He returned to Switzerland with his family this past summer.

"I want to convey the experience of the ‘Here and Now'. We are here. Everything only happens once. It is not a dream." Christoph Müller
